Focus areas

  • Bringing Applied Intuition's self-driving stack to Korea, starting from zero-shot baseline evaluation
  • Running the local data loop: collection, upload, and post-processing
  • Hardware-in-the-loop for capturing and replaying raw, pre-ISP sensor data

Interests

  • Running models on real hardware, not just Colab
  • Collecting AI tools: agents, LLMs, whatever ships
  • A hardware background that still shapes how I write code

May 2026 – Present
Application Engineer
Applied Intuition · Seoul, S.Korea
  • Bringing Applied Intuition's self-driving stack (SDS) to Korea by operating the HQ-built data loop locally, from zero-shot baseline evaluation to data collection, upload, and post-processing, and translating findings into technical direction for customers.
  • Proposed a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setup with a Tier-1 automotive sensor supplier to capture and replay raw, pre-ISP sensor data for evaluating its imaging and sensing technology on the SDS; serving as Korea-side DRI for the build.
Jan 2025 – May 2026
Research Engineer (Technical Project Manager)
Hyundai Motor Company · R&D Center · Gyeonggi, S.Korea
Technical PM on a large-scale (600+ personnel) Robotaxi production project.
  • Established and operated 20+ meeting bodies with the client and internal teams to streamline decision-making.
  • Minimized risk to critical milestones (certification, firmware deployment) by proactively negotiating test-vehicle production capacity and applying a priority-based resource-allocation strategy.
  • Collaborated with legal and security teams to review project deliverables for regulatory and security consistency.
Jul 2024 – Aug 2024
Software Engineer Intern
Samsung Research · Seoul, S.Korea
Built operational tooling for an upcoming LLM service launch.
  • Developed a monitoring system for LLM API servers, implementing previously missing observability needed for launch.
  • Built Kubernetes clusters and a Dev server to support scalable infrastructure.
  • Worked with admins to design detailed API analytics and real-time alerting.
Mar 2022 – May 2024
Undergraduate Researcher
  • Grand Prize, Autonomous Robot Race. Led a software-architecture overhaul, refactoring a monolithic script into a modular framework that unblocked advanced algorithms including Model Predictive Control (MPC).
  • 1st Place, RoboCup Autonomous Robot Manipulation Challenge. Engineered a high-fidelity training dataset for the winning model via precise polygon labeling and a novel data pipeline benchmarked from international competitors.
  • Presented three research papers (2 posters, 1 oral) at academic conferences based on competition findings.
